| Dick Tufeld was/is most certainly one of my favorite voices. He had that fantastic announcer sound. His delivery was the definition of "professional". I will always remember him from his sign off: "This is Dick Tufeld speaking". Thank you Dick. |

Richard "Dick" Tufeld was simply the Best of The Best.
No other classic Announcer did it with such polish and panache, nor ever sounded so bright, bold, and handsome at the microphone. Especially when framed as the official Voice of "Disney", his sweeping and majestic command of tone and phrasing, expressed in exquisitely refined texture and phrasing, reliably ignite the imagination and inspire the soul - whenever his sparkling classic vocal tracks are launched through any capable loudspeakers, public and private, great and small. |
